Skelton often plays one of many crazy characters, including Clem Kadiddlehopper, the idiotic cab-driver, Junior, the “mean widdle kid” and Deadeye, the fastest gun in the West. As one of the most well-loved comedians in radio history, Red remained at the top of his profession for many, many years, pulling in record numbers of listeners.
